Theatre Educators' Links
( Don't forget to also check out "STANJ BLASTS!" )
How can we help you and your program?
Anything that can make our work as theatre teachers and directors easier and better is always welcome!

STANJ is ready to help by providing a service for you that would allow its members to share props, costumes, and
set pieces. If you have any of these items to loan or rent for a small fee, send us the specific information.
We are especially looking for those hard to find period pieces or scenery items that may be specific to one show
(such as the plant from
Little Shop of Horrors, costumes for The Crucible or telephones from the 1930's, etc.)
Anything you have available could be of help to a colleague in need.
If you have such items and want to be on our "sharee" list, simply email your information to
Wayne Bond
Click on the link above for further information.
We will compile a list and post it here. As you choose your shows for this school year,
consider making the work easier for yourself and other NJ theatre educators.

Ronald Slate, Supervisor of Visual, Performing, & Practical Arts, Springfield Public Schools would like to share
some info about a great company they used in their production of
Little Shop last year.
The company is: The Puppet Company,  PO Box 1210, San Leonardo, CA 94577, (517) 569-3144
"Not only were the puppets light weight and easy to use, but we were able to rent them for our entire rehearsal run
for one set price. (approx 1500 plus shipping) The owners were a pleasure to work with and provided quality
products with a great dvd instructional video. This really made our show, and I highly recommend that anyone
looking to do LSOH look to them for their Audrey II rentals."
