SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! The board has decided to move the organization’s major communication to members from snail mail to email, starting with the Fall Teachers’ Conference. (Major communication means conference announcements, the "Open Call" Newsletter, STANJ Blasts [read about them in the Fall newsletter], Competition Packets, etc.) If in the future you'd rather continue to receive the organization’s communications by regular mail, you may request it and we will forward the mailings to you. Otherwise, after the Fall Conference, you will be receiving mail from STANJ by email. The Board also encourages you to make more extensive use of this website, stanj.org. As you see, this year is a special one for STANJ! We are celebrating our 50th Anniversary. The Executive Board has been working hard in preparing a number of changes in preparation of this celebration year. Hear all about them at the Conference and read about them in the Newsletter. And by the way, we have had a great launch of the celebration of our Birthday with a wonderful article, "Kiss Today Goodbye, and Point Us to Tomorrow", penned by George Dearani, in the NJEA Review.
